Description

Affektive Störungen sind hauptsächlich durch eine krankhafte Veränderung der Stimmung (Affektivität), meist zur Depression oder zur gehobenen Stimmung (Manie) hin, charakterisiert. Die Altersdepression ist die häufigste psychische Erkrankung bei über 65 jährigen. Bei depressiven Menschen besteht ein ausgeprägtes Suizidrisiko. («Psychiatrie», Möller/ Laux/ Deister)
